Position Details

Digital Navigator (Digital Navigator at Alfred Health) - Fixed Term Part Time (38 hrs/fn) until June 2027 - Location: Alfred Health sites

Role

The role focuses on patient onboarding, technical support, and administrative coordination to ensure safe and efficient, digitally enabled care. It is part of our Interconnected Care Program to expand our care outside of hospital through digitally enabled care.

Key Responsibilities

- Onboard and support patients using digital platforms and devices
- Provide first-line technical support to patients and staff
- Support patients with appointments, communications, and records




- Maintain accurate documentation and patient lists
- Support administrative tasks and workflow improvements

About You

- Certificate III/IV in Business/Medical Administration (or equivalent)
- Strong digital skills and confidence supporting others with technology
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience supporting diverse patients, including those with low digital literacy
- Qualified, adaptable, and committed to patient-centred care

Other Requirements

In accordance with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, health care workers in Category A or B roles (as determined by the department’s risk ratings) are required to be vaccinated against influenza or hold an acceptable medical exemption.
