About the Centre
Oz Education Redfern opened in early 2026. Our brand-new centre features four spacious rooms equipped with contemporary facilities and resources, creating a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
The Role
We are seeking a Trainee, Cert III or Diploma Educator who brings passion and enthusiasm for early education — whether you are an experienced educator or eager to grow and learn along the way. This is an opportunity to become part of a positive, supportive workplace that values collaboration, wellbeing, and professional growth.

Traineeship:
- You will be provided with on-the-job training, support, mentoring and allocated study time. Upon the completion of your Traineeship, you will receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Required Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Willing to study or working towards or hold a Cert III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Valid Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Developing knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Ability to form positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators
- Ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and educators
Child Safety Commitment

- A demonstrated understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settings
- Knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and relevant child protection legislation
- Understanding of professional boundaries and appropriate behaviours when working with children
- Ability to identify and respond to indicators of abuse, harm, or neglect
- Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to children and families
- Experience implementing child-safe policies and procedures
