Product Control sits at the centre of Global Markets, providing independent P&L; reporting and maintaining a strong control environment across trading activities. The Commodities team works closely with Front Office, Risk and Technology to support trading across a diverse range of energy, metals and agricultural products.

Your impact

- Perform and oversee daily P&L; production, ensuring accuracy, completeness and transparency
- Provide clarity on P&L; drivers, market movements and trading activities
- Maintain and strengthen the control framework across reporting, systems and processes
- Perform and oversee key reconciliations between Front Office and finance systems
- Partner with Trading,



Risk and Technology to support business initiatives and trading activity
- Identify, investigate and proactively resolve issues or anomaliesDrive automation, efficiency and continuous improvement across reporting processes
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
- Influence senior stakeholders through clear, commercially focused insights

We’re looking for people who have

- Experience in Product Control or Financial Control within Commodities or traded markets environments
- Strong accounting foundation with an understanding of financial reporting frameworks
- Experience leading or mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to trading systems and processes (e.g. Murex, Endur or similar)
- Strong analytical capability, with experience in tools such as Tableau, SQL, VBA, Power BI or Alteryx
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent)
