Techforce Personnelare currently seeking experienced Electricians with HV Termination and Substation experience to join a major 330/33kV substation construction project in New South Wales, commencing late August to early September.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale transmission infrastructure project supporting Australia's growing energy sector.
About the Role
Working as part of the construction team, your responsibilities will include:
- Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment
- High Voltage cable installation and terminations
- Earthing system installation
- Protection and control system installation
- Equipment fit-out and assembly
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Testing and commissioning support
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
Skills & Experience To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous substation construction experienceExperience working on transmission substations (132kV-330kV)
- Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Experience with primary and secondary systems
- Strong understanding of protection and control systems
- Ability to work effectively within a project team environment
Tickets & Qualifications Applicants must hold:
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Construction White Card
- EWP Licence (highly regarded)
- Working at Heights
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Current Driver's Licence
- HV Authorisations and competencies highly regarded
