About the Role

Join Monash Lung Sleep Allergy Immunology (MLSAI) and lead a high-performing administration team supporting exceptional patient care.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated administration qualified to provide day-to-day leadership of our administration team and support the efficient operation of outpatient services across the MLSAI program. Reporting to the Outpatient Services Manager, this role combines frontline leadership with operational coordination to ensure the delivery of responsive, patient-focused administrative services.

As Team Leader,



you will provide first-line leadership, supervision and support to a dedicated team of administrative staff. You will play a key role in workforce coordination, staff development, service improvement and the delivery of efficient patient access and booking services. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and supporting a team of administration staff across outpatient services.
- Coordinating rosters, leave management and day-to-day workforce requirements.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development of staff.
- Monitoring appointment and admission data, identifying issues and supporting quality improvements.
- Assisting with service planning, KPI monitoring and process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the delivery of efficient reception, booking and patient administration services.
- Working collaboratively with clinicians, managers and operational teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

About You

- You will be a proactive and organised leader with strong administrative experience and a passion for developing people and improving services. We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience supervising or leading administrative staff.
- Excellent organisational, rostering and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.




- Experience working in a busy healthcare or customer service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support staff development and drive continuous improvement.
- Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office and patient administration systems.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service to patients, staff and stakeholders.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a senior administrator or emerging leader to step into a rewarding leadership role within a highly respected specialist service. You will work closely with experienced clinical and operational leaders while contributing to improvements in patient access and service delivery.
