Position: Test Lead for Market Services

Role Brief: The Test Lead for Market Services will be responsible for leading testing activities for an Electricity Distributor with Retailers via MSATS, as well as market enablement activities during deployment for go-live. The role involves devising testing artifacts, employing functional solutions, allocating test cases to the team, coordinating with the development team, and organizing meetings with business stakeholders.

- Experience with Australian Electricity Utilities interacting with markets including distributors, retailers, MSATS, and AEMO

- Experience with Network Billing

Job Description:

We need someone with extensive experience with Australian Electricity Utilities interacting with markets including distributors, retailers, MSATS and AEMO.

- Lead testing of an Electricity Distributor with Retailers via MSATS (Service Orders, CRs & CATS)
- Lead the Market Enablement activities during deployment for go live
- Involve in devising all the artefacts of testing such as understanding & analyse the requirements, test plan creation, effort estimation, test scenarios and test cases creation, requirement traceability, test data preparation, execution of test cases, preparation of test reports, defect reporting, and preparation of test summary report.
- Responsible to employ functional solutions including developing, implementing,



and adopting the system test plans, which ensure the integrity and sustainable system quality. Perform sanity/shakeout testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, adhoc testing, regression testing, end to end application testing and production verification testing.
- Responsible in the test case allocation to the team, execution of test cases, documentation, database validations, and logging the defects into the bug tracking tool and coordinated with the development team to get the issues fixed at the earliest.
- Organize regular meetings with business for Test Approach, Test Scenario walk through and Test evidence review.
- Publish daily/weekly summary reports and test summary reports.

Experience required:

- Extensive experience as a Test Analyst and Test Lead
- Extensive experience with Australian Electricity Utilities interacting with markets including distributors, retailers, MSATS and AEMO
- Experience with an Australian Utilities Electricity distributor or retailer leading Industry, Bilateral and compliance testing
- Experience with deployment activities including Market Enablement
- Experience with Network Billing
