Manawee Garden Centre is a long established retail garden centre based in Buderim who are seeking a full time Retail Assistant to join our friendly team. You will be the face of our garden centre, delivering exceptional customer service whilst supporting the smooth operation of our retail environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced retail assistant to work in our gift shop who has a genuine passion for working with our customers. This is a full-time position and does include weekend work.

To be successful in this role you must have retail experience working in a busy environment.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance with product selection and gardening advice

Processing customer transactions accurately at the point of sale using our retail systems

Maintaining clean, organised and visually appealing displays

Restocking shelves and ensuring products are properly priced and labelled

Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and courteously

Assisting with receiving and unpacking new stock deliveries

Operating the cash register and processing various payment methods

Supporting the team with general housekeeping and daily opening and closing procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical capability to lift, carry and arrange products safely throughout the working day

Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work

A willingness to learn about plants, gardening products and seasonal trends

The ability to work weekends

A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers achieve their gardening goals
