About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coordinator to support and oversee our Family Day Care educators. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with state and national regulations while fostering high-quality learning environments. You will be responsible for monitoring, mentoring, and supporting educators to uphold our service's values and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and mentor Family Day Care educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Conduct regular home visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist educators with curriculum planning and implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Monitor attendance records and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Provide guidance on child development, safety, and educational best practices.
- Work closely with families to support their needs and enhance children’s learning experiences.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and national regulations are adhered to.
- Organize training, professional development, and networking opportunities for educators.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the quality of our service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
- Employee Working with Children Check.
- Current Police Check clearance.
- Child Protection online module
- Must have an ABN (Sole Trader)
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in the childcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Experience in mentoring and supporting educators.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor and assess compliance with national and state regulations.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and software such as Harmony Web.
