Perilya is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stores Truck Driver to join our site operations team at the Broken Hill Mine. This role is responsible for the safe transport, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies across the mine site, ensuring operational departments have the resources they need to keep production running efficiently.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced driver and storeperson who enjoys working in a dynamic mining environment and is committed to maintaining high safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport materials across site.

Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming deliveries.

Pick, pack, and distribute parts, consumables, and equipment to site departments.

Complete deliveries and collections in accordance with site procedures.





Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction documentation.

Conduct pre-start inspections and routine vehicle checks.

Assist with stocktakes and inventory management activities.

Ensure stores and yard areas are maintained in a clean and organised condition.

Comply with all site safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current HR or MR Driver's Licence (preferred).

Current Forklift Licence (LF).

Previous experience in a stores, warehousing, logistics, or transport role.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.

Good communication and team-working skills.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous mining industry experience.

Dangerous Goods awareness or certification.

Loader or telehandler experience.

First Aid certification.
