Reporting to the General Manager – QLD and based in our Brisbane region office, you will lead state-wide operations and oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial cleaning and facility services contracts across metropolitan and regional locations.
You will provide leadership and support to Client Service Managers and site leadership teams, ensuring all contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. You will be accountable for labour management, subcontractor performance, quality assurance, financial outcomes, and business growth initiatives across the Queensland portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of commercial cleaning operations across Queensland.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Client Service Managers and site leadership teams.
- Ensure all contracts are delivered in accordance with client specifications, SLAs, and company standards.
- Drive quality outcomes through regular audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Manage labour costs, rosters, productivity, overtime, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, contract reviews, and performance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, contract variations,
and business growth.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, industrial awards, and company policies.
About you
- Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role within commercial cleaning or facilities services.
- Strong knowledge of multi-site contract management and service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
- Strong financial acumen, including labour management, budgeting, and P&L; accountability.
- Experience managing subcontractors and contractor compliance.
- Solid understanding of the Cleaning Services Award, WHS legislation, and industrial relations practices.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and travel throughout Queensland as required.
- Ability to travel as required to support client sites.
- Current driver's licence.
