Based at our Whittingham facility, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise the entire production floor within our export processing operation.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance across all production areas, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans

- Planning and coordinating production activities across quality, output, cost, time and labour requirements

- Overseeing daily operations across the full production floor to ensure efficiency and performance targets are met

- Monitoring production output and costs, identifying and implementing process improvements

- Collaborating with senior leadership and other managers on production performance and planning

- Leading continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

- Ensuring accurate production reporting and record keeping

- Maintaining compliance with operational, WHS and food safety requirements

- Leading, mentoring and performance managing supervisors and production staff

- Proven experience in a beef processing or export production environment

- Strong understanding of end-to-end production operations

- Demonstrated leadership capability, managing teams and supervisors

- A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills

- Working knowledge of standard WHS and food safety requirements
