Classification

To be an effective team member in Council’s works section in carrying out Council’s road construction and maintenance programme efficiently, productively and safely. To carry out directives from Council’s Works Supervisor and Works Manager to all specifications and quality required.

Hours

Hours 76 hour fortnight (some out of hours work may required).

Requirements

The successful applicant must have experience in operating and maintaining plant and equipment with proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team.

Grade

Grade 5 – starting at $74,292.89 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Enterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).

Medical

A compulsory pre-employment medical examination must be undertaken.

Location

Maitland Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
