Due to our continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager (General) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store and lead our sales team.

Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: Determining the product mix, stock levels and customer service standards to maximise sales and operational efficiency.

Formulating and implementing purchasing, merchandising and marketing strategies to drive sales growth and profitability. Setting pricing strategies in accordance with market conditions and business objectives. Promoting and advertising the store's products and services through various marketing initiatives, including digital and in-store campaigns.

Selling mobile phones, smart devices,



accessories and related services while providing customers with professional product advice. Maintaining accurate records of inventory, stock movements, sales and financial transactions. Preparing and managing store budgets, monitoring expenditure and implementing cost-control measures.

Monitoring sales performance, analysing reports and implementing strategies to improve business outcomes. Recruiting, training, supervising and mentoring retail staff to ensure high performance and exceptional customer service. Preparing staff rosters and managing employee performance.

Liaising with suppliers and coordinating purchasing activities to ensure adequate stock availability. Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, company policies and all relevant legislative obligations. Resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Maintaining high standards of store presentation, merchandising and operational excellence. Essential Requirements To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

An AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, Management or a closely related field; or At least three (3)



years of relevant full-time retail management experience where no formal qualification is held. Demonstrated experience managing retail store operations and supervising staff.

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Experience in inventory management, budgeting, purchasing and financial reporting. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced retail environment and achieve sales targets. Desirable Skills

Experience within the mobile phone, telecommunications or consumer electronics retail industry. Knowledge of current mobile technology, smartphones and related accessories. Experience implementing promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies.
