Switched Pty Ltd is seeking part-time Laundry and Ironing Staff to join our team at our Preston VIC 3072 location. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in delivering high-quality laundry services to our valued clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all garments and textiles are cleaned, pressed and prepared to the highest standards. This part-time position offers flexibility whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our cleaning services division.

This is a fast growing company within the industry and will be a fantastic opportunity for someone committed and hard working.

What you'll be doing

- Ironing and pressing a variety of garments and textiles to professional standards

- Sorting, washing, and drying laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions

- Operating washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently

- Folding and packaging completed items for collection or delivery

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry facility

- Checking items for stains, damage, or defects and addressing issues appropriately

- Following health and safety protocols and using cleaning products responsibly

- Communicating with supervisors regarding any concerns or quality issues

What we're looking for

IMPORTANT: You must have laundry (including folding) and ironing experience in at least a domestic capacity.

- Previous experience in ironing, laundry services, dry cleaning,



or hospitality cleaning preferred

- Ability to operate laundry and ironing equipment safely and effectively

- Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality

- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift items regularly

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to meet scheduling requirements

- Team player with a positive attitude towards work

- Basic understanding of fabric care and garment handling

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
