We are seeking a Physiotherapists who is passionate about providing client-focused care in the community. This role is hands-on, meaningful, and rewarding — you’ll be supporting clients to improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance their independence in their own homes.
As a Physiotherapist, you will:
- Deliver protected, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to care planning and reviews.
- Provide rehabilitation, mobility training, and exercise programs to support client goals.
- Work closely with clients, families, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current driver’s licence and reliable lor or Master s vehicle (required for community visits).
- National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience, with some related experience in community or aged care settings.
- Demonstrated experience in physiotherapy assessments, and interventions for older adults.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a MDT team
- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of Support at Home, CHSP, and My Aged Care frameworks.
- Experience with mobility / falls assessments and Aged Care Funding documentation.
- Understanding manual handling, dementia care, and falls prevention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach to older clients.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritise workload, and work autonomously in the community.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and continuous improvement.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
