HDD Driller

About the Role

You will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of Horizontal Directional Drilling equipment while delivering high-quality work across telecommunications and utility projects.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 2 years’ HDD drilling experience

* Experience operating Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch drilling rigs

* Current HR Driver’s Licence

* Strong understanding of safe drilling practices

* Ability to read, understand and interpret BYDA (Before You Dig Australia) plans

* Experience working around existing underground utilities

* Knowledge of drilling fluid and mixing systems

* Ability to carry out daily pre-starts, routine maintenance and servicing of drilling equipment

* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team

Highly Regarded

* Telecommunications industry experience

* Experience in rock drilling and mud motor operations

* Excavator operating experience

* Vacuum excavation experience

* Service locating experience

HDD Locator / Tracker

About the Role





We are seeking an experienced HDD Locator/Tracker capable of accurately guiding drilling operations while maintaining safe clearances from existing underground infrastructure.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 2 years’ HDD locating/tracking experience

* Experience using Subsite F2 and F5 locating systems

* Ability to accurately track and map bore paths

* Proven ability to avoid utility strikes by interpreting locator data and ground conditions

* Ability to read, understand and interpret BYDA plans and construction drawings

* Excellent communication skills with the driller throughout drilling operations

* Current HR Driver’s Licence

* Willingness to assist with service locating and general site duties when required
