AV Technician – Casual 2–3 Days per Week

$45–$50 per hour + super
Casual rate includes casual loading. Final rate depends on experience, licences and technical capability.

AVSION is looking for a reliable and experienced AV Technician to work directly with the business owner on premium residential and commercial installations across Sydney.

This is a casual position offering approximately 2–3 days per week initially, with the potential for additional days and future permanent employment as the business grows.

About the Role

You will assist with and progressively take responsibility for:

- Installing TVs, displays, soundbars and speakers

- Running, terminating, testing and labelling Cat6 cabling

- Installing Wi-Fi access points and network equipment

- Installing CCTV cameras and recorders

- Building and organising communications racks

- Assisting with intercom and access-control installations

- Reading installation plans and following project scopes

- Testing systems and completing installation documentation

- Protecting clients’ property and maintaining a clean worksite

About You





You will ideally have:

- Approximately 2–5 years of AV installation experience

- Experience installing TVs, speakers, cabling or commercial AV equipment

- Confidence using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to complete standard installation tasks with limited supervision

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

- Valuable communication and customer-service skills

- Current Australian driver licence

- Full Australian working rights

Experience with UniFi, CCTV, intercoms, video conferencing, Sonos, Samsung, Sony, Marantz, Denon, Logitech, Neat or Poly would be highly regarded.

An Open Cabling Registration, NSW Security Licence, White Card, Working at Heights certification or EWP licence would also be an advantage.
