Kuka Cares is seeking full time Disability Support Workers and Personal Care Assistants to work directly with our NDIS participants to help them live a more independant and fulfilling life.

The Role:

Personal Care Assistant:

- assisting participants with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating;

- assisting participants with their mobility and communication needs;

- participating in planning the care of individuals;

- following care plans created by Registered Nurses, Physio, Occupational Therapist etc to assist participants with complex support needs, behavioural concern needs etc

- observe and report and changes in participants condition and report any complaints regarding the participants care;

- asssit with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment and administering of medications;

- provide direct support and assistance to Registered Nurses and therapists

Disability Support Worker (Disabled Carer):





- support participants with their daily activities and personal care;

- assist participants with mobility;

- assist participants with meal preparation and feeding;

- arrange and accompany participants on social activities within the community;

- perform housekeeping and domestic tasks within the participants home;

- assist participants with personal hygience, showering and dressing;

- provide participants with companionship and emotional support;

Skills and Experience Required:

- Current First Air and Manual Handling Certificate;

- Drivers Licence;

- Certiificate III in Individual Supports or Minimum 1 Year Relevant Experience;

- NDIS Worker Screening Check;

- Current Working with Children Check

Annual Salary:

$80,000.00 per annum (38 hour working week) + Superannuation
