Sales Representative – Commercial Joinery

Are you a driven salesperson who knows how to build relationships, uncover opportunities and turn conversations into business?

Our client is an established Commercial Joinery Company based on the Sunshine Coast and is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the construction, building or trade setting and loves getting out there, meeting clients, developing relationships and bringing new work into a business.

You don't necessarily need to come directly from commercial joinery. If you have strong B2B sales experience within a related industry and understand how commercial projects come together, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As the Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing the company's client base and securing new commercial projects.

You will be responsible for:

- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions

- Building relationships with builders, developers, architects, designers, shopfitters, project managers and other commercial clients

- Proactively prospecting and generating your own sales opportunities

- Managing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business

- Following up leads, enquiries, tenders and potential projects

- Presenting the company's capabilities,



products and services to prospective clients

- Maintaining a solid sales pipeline and following opportunities through from initial contact to close

- Attending client meetings, site visits and industry networking opportunities

- Working closely with estimating, production and project teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery

- Developing long-term relationships rather than simply chasing one-off sales

- Representing the business professionally and becoming a trusted point of contact for clients

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have experience in commercial joinery, however we are very open to candidates with transferable sales experience from industries such as:

- Commercial construction

- Commercial fit-outs

- Shopfitting

- Cabinetry or kitchen manufacturing

- Building products and materials

- Architectural products

- Timber or hardware

- Furniture or commercial interiors

- Doors, frames, flooring or fixtures

- Trade sales

- Construction services

- Manufacturing

- B2B project-based sales

You may even be someone who has worked within the joinery, cabinetmaking, construction or fit-out industry and is ready to get off the tools and move into sales.
