ConsultANZ is looking for a Design Manager to join a leading piling and deep foundations contractor based in NSW.
This role is ideal for an experienced foundation designer who can lead a small team while delivering high-quality designs for major civil and infrastructure projects.
Main Duties
Prepare and review designs for bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls
Lead and mentor a team of 5 design engineers
Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external consultants
Review geotechnical reports and develop practical foundation solutions
Ensure designs are delivered accurately and on schedule
Provide technical guidance and support across multiple projects
Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements




Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
8+ years of experience in piling, deep foundations, or geotechnical design
Strong design experience with bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls
Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
Strong communication and English skills
Ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities
D-wall experience is advantageous but not essential
