About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focusedHR Driverto join our Jeffries Compost Service team based at Wingfield.
This is more than just a driving job.
You'll play an significant role in collecting organic waste from customers across metropolitan Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills, helping turn everyday organics into valuable compost and soil products.
You'll enjoy working independently, interacting with customers, and being active throughout the day.
While driving is a key part of the role, you'll also be getting in and out of the truck regularly, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on position.
Hours:4:00am start, Monday to Friday, with overtime, weekend and public holiday work available when required.
Key Responsibilities
Complete daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Safely collect organic waste from customers across metropolitan Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
Follow preloaded collection routes using onboard tablets.
Record collections and complete required documentation.
Unload,



clean and prepare the truck at the end of each shift.
Deliver friendly, professional customer service at every stop.
Support the Logistics Supervisor with other operational tasks as required.
About You
You'll be a dependable driver who takes pride in working safely, providing great customer service and representing the business professionally.
You'll bring:
A current HR driver's licence.
Safe and confident driving skills.
Previous rear-lift or waste collection experience (preferred but not essential).
A strong commitment to safety, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Excellent reliability, punctuality and work ethic.
The ability to work independently and manage your daily route.
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
