Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experiencedUnrestricted Building Surveyorto join the business in a Director-level capacity.
This is a genuine opportunity to influence the strategic direction of a growing organisation while leading the delivery of complex commercial projects across Sydney.
The Opportunity
As a Director, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and business leadership.
You'll work alongside an experienced team of certifiers while overseeing major commercial developments, mentoring staff and fostering long-term client relationships.
This role offers significant autonomy, a collaborative culture and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established business.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and certify a diverse range of commercial developments.
Provide expert advice on the Building Code of Australia (NCC), relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections and issue statutory certifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
Mentor and support junior surveyors and certification staff.
Contribute to business development,



operational strategy and team leadership.
Ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest professional standards.
About You To be considered, you will have:
Unrestricted Building Surveyor accreditation in New South Wales (essential).
Extensive experience deliveringcommercial building certification projects.
Robust working knowledge of the NCC, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Building Code and associated legislation.
Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial acumen with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
