Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from theVirginiaDepotwiththe Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queenslandstarting27/7/2026This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland.

Key Duties:
Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects
Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
Driving Company vehicle
Mandatory Position Requirements:
Open car licence
MUSThaveoutdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Land Management and Conservation, Civil OR Hiking/ Bushwalking
MUSTbe physically fit as the role requires substantial walking through challenging terrain up to *******klm per day
Ability to work in a team environment
Face to Face customer service experience
Pass a drug and alcohol screen
MUSTbe able to complete and pass a Police check
