THE ROLE

Driven by a workforce of over 100 experienced trades and management professionals, and with safety and HR as a greater focus,the business is decisively seeking the right fit in the form of an Executive Manager - People Safety & operations to join the Business.
The role is responsible for driving a high-performance culture across all business units while safeguarding compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, industrial and employment obligations, environmental obligations, and Integrated Management System requirements.
The role is a critical leadership role in improving and aligning operational efficiency, communication, service delivery, safety performance and commercial outcomes across the Group.
The Executive Manager will oversee WHS, HR, operational coordination, fleet management, procurement oversight, compliance systems, ISO certification requirements and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
THE ESSENTIALS
Reporting directly to the two Directors, this role will see you utilise your diverse senior management skills and develop with a market leader.



You will run your day, your way, adapting and championing a deep dive, on the current processes, with the ability to support, and push reporting data to the two Directors.
Strategic WHS Leadership
Maintain and improve a proactive WHS strategy
Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and standards.
Promote a strong safety culture through effective leadership and communication.
HR Management
Oversee and manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to termination.
Foster positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues promptly and fairly.
Implement effective HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
Training and Development
Develop and deliver WHS and HR training programs
Ensure that all employees receive timely and appropriate training.
Maintain accurate records of training and qualifications.
Incident Management
Investigate and analyse workplace incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
Implement effective incident reporting and investigation procedures.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS and HR legislation, including Fair Work Act, Work Health and Safety Act, and Privacy Act.
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities.
Maintain accurate records
ISO Compliance & Integrated Management Systems
Maintain and continuously improve the organisation's Integrated Management System (IMS)



across all business units.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards and certification requirements, including quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
Lead and coordinate ISO audits, manage corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Operational Leadership & Business Integration
Provide operational leadership and support driving collaboration and alignment between business units.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencies.
Support operational planning, workforce coordination, and resource allocation across the Group.
Assist Directors and operational leaders with strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
Fleet Management & Procurement Oversight
Oversee fleet compliance, maintenance coordination, and operational performance across company vehicles and mobile plant.
Ensure fleet operations comply with relevant legislation, Chain of Responsibility obligations, and company standards.
Ultimately, the Executive Manager - People, Safety & Operations will contribute to a safe, productive, and compliant workplace, enhancing the overall reputation and performance of the organisation.
THE ESSENTIALS
Experience as a WHSQ Supervisor
Experience as a HR Coordinator/Supervisor
Exposure to the manufacturing or building, construction arena
Cert IV in WHS
Diploma or Cert in HR

Senior management experience
Assertive, coupled with a sense of urgency.
A resolver, collaborative, with an ability to "nut out" concerns guaranteeing solutions
Consistent concise and conscientious
Ability to build lasting relationships with not only contractors but also clients.
Ability to self-manage and work as part of a team-oriented team
Upkeep the necessary ISO standards across the business
