About the Role
As our Centre Chef, you'll create fresh,



nutritious meals and snacks for children throughout the day while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene practices.
You'll be responsible for:
Planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals
Creating menus that are nutritious, appealing and child-friendly
Accommodating allergy, dietary and cultural requirements
Managing food ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
Maintaining food safety and compliance standards
Building positive relationships with children, families and educators
Encouraging a positive and healthy relationship with food
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have
Experience working in a commercial kitchen, childcare setting, school, aged care environment or similar
Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices
A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A current Blue Card or ability to obtain one
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
A warm, positive and caring nature
A genuine passion for children's health and wellbeing
