What's the role?
We're looking for a Kitchen Hand to join our Rockhampton Village on a casual basis, working approximately 15 hours per week.
Working alongside the Chef and reporting to the Village Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen by: Assisting the Chef with preparing nutritious, home-style mealsPreparing and packing resident meal bagsServing lunch to residents in a friendly and professional mannerWashing dishes,



utensils and kitchen equipmentCleaning and sanitising the kitchen and dining areasReceiving deliveries and correctly stacking and rotating stockSupporting food safety and workplace health and safety complianceReporting hazards or maintenance issues promptlyBuilding positive relationships with residents through friendly conversation and excellent customer service What's in it for you?

Is this role right for you?
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
You'll Ideally Have Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality or cleaning roleA Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)An understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety practicesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to work collaboratively within a teamStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeConfidence interacting with older Australians in a friendly and respectful mannerA genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents Ready to join Eureka?
