About the Role
Reporting directly to theDirector of Nursing, this role will work within our busy hospital department.This exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated Assistant in Nursing, with exceptional time management and clinical skills.
With the ability to work both in a team and in a multi-disciplinary environment, you will display a positive commitment and professional accountability in relation to the needs of the organisation and its clients, have experience in the treatment of addictions and mood disorders and be passionate about supporting and restoring health and well-being.
Monday – Sunday casual availability.
Qualifications,
Experience & Personal Attributes
Essential:
Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles of adult learning
Highly developed verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate within a multi-disciplinary team
Intermediate computer literacy
Punctual
Desirable:
Previous Assistant in Nursing experience
Empathetic and compassionate towards the needs of others
Standard Requirements
Professional integrity, adherence to a professional code of ethics and confidentiality requirements as per SPP policy
Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional internal and external boundaries
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment effectively, respecting difference and diversity
