THE TRUSTEE FOR THE JAI INVESTMENTS TRUST JAI JASSAR INVESTMENTS PTY LTD is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our growing transport operations in Mareeba, Queensland. This role involves the secure and productive transportation of goods across regional and interstate routes while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining delivery schedules, protecting cargo integrity, and representing the company professionally on the road.

Task & responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles (including rigid and articulated trucks) safely and efficiently
Transport goods to designated locations within required timeframes
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation




Adhere to fatigue management, road laws, and safety regulations
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules effectively
Ensure load is properly secured in compliance with safety standards

Qualification & experience
Relevant Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (e.g., HR, HC, or MC)
Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (desirable but not mandatory)
Good understanding of road safety regulations and fatigue management
Ability to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening
Strong communication and time management skills
Clean driving record preferred
