Our client is a National Leader leading manufacturer of surfactants and supplier of phosphates in the Australian market. Our comprehensive product range services the industrial, construction, mining, food and household & personal care markets.
We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Welder for site-based work, with a solid background in stainless steel and mild steel welding . This role is ideal for someone confident in both fabrication and on-site installation, with a focus on pipework and structural components. If you're the right fit, there’s a real chance for this role to become permanent.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORK
WETHERILL PARK LOCATION
OCCASIONAL OVERTIME WHERE REQUIRED
7am – 3pm
$60.30 per hour + overtime rates if required
3 month interim contract with potential permanency for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel (304/316) and mild steel.
Weld and patch pipework ranging from ½” to 6” in diameter.
Fabricate new pipework systems, supports, and frames.
Carry out on-site installation of fabricated systems.
Fit and install valves, flanges, and other fittings .
Requirements
Welding Tickets and or trade cert
Proven experience with TIG/MIG welding in industrial or chemical plant settings.
Solid knowledge of stainless (304/316) and mild steel welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings .
Awareness of safety procedures and PPE requirements in high-risk work environments.
Experience with pipe fitting and mechanical installations .
Previous work in chemical, oil & gas, or industrial sectors .
Forklift Licence - Highly Desirable
Confined Space Certification - Highly Desirable
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) - Highly Desirable
