Business Development Manager
to lead strategic growth, develop referral partnerships, and support participants in accessing high-quality, individualised supports.

About the Role
Based in our
Smithfield office
, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the Greater Sydney and Brisbane regions by developing robust referral pathways, identifying new opportunities, and supporting participants through their onboarding journey.
Working closely with our leadership team, support coordination, and community teams, you will represent Sibella Care within the disability, health, justice, and community sectors while ensuring participants experience a seamless transition into our services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Support Coordinators, Local Health Districts, Allied health professionals, Community mental health teams, DCJ, Corrections, and other referral partners.
Identify new business opportunities and generate participant referrals across Greater Sydney.
Remote based networking and growth focus within the Brisbane region.
Conduct consultation and needs assessments to identify geographic areas for growth, support requirements, and service suitability.




Coordinate participant onboarding, including service agreements, intake documentation, risk assessments, and commencement planning.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure participants are matched with appropriate supports and services.
Promote Sibella Care's services through networking events, expos, stakeholder meetings, and community engagement activities.
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage the sales and referral pipeline from enquiry through to service commencement.
Monitor market trends, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to business development strategies.
Build long-term partnerships that strengthen Sibella Care's reputation as a trusted provider of complex disability and psychosocial supports.
About You
You are an energetic relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and creating opportunities that improve participant outcomes.
You will bring:
Experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, or relationship management.
Solid knowledge of the NDIS and disability service sector.
Experience working with participants living with psychosocial disability, mental health, complex support needs, or forensic backgrounds will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to develop referral networks and maintain professional partnerships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.




Confidence working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
High-level written communication and documentation skills.
Current Driver Licence and willingness to travel throughout Greater Sydney.
Desirable Qualifications
Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Counselling, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
