Reporting to theManaging Director, this important role within the company will see you leading a team and developing new product ideas and concepts from inception through to launch.

Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic category plans, setting and managing category KPI's
Accountable for meeting key objectives
Managing a team of 5 product developers
Working with in house design team to create new products
Identify segment and category growth opportunities
Create current product/category ideas and bring them to market
Analyse and understand global product trends
Sourcing from and working with Chinese supply partners
Finding recent production sources

Desired Skills and Experience




Team leadership experience
Experience in creating new consumer products from inception
Strategic and financial nous including a key focus on achieving margin targets
Sound negotiation skills
An ability to sell your ideas within the organisation
Sourcing from China or other key supply markets
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, can-do environment
A desire to progress your career into senior management
