About the role
We are seeking experienced Senior Hairstylists and Junior Hairstylists to join our dynamic team at Hair Colosseum in Campbelltown, NSW. This is a full time and Part-time position offering the opportunity to work in a professional, fast-paced salon environment. As a Senior Hairstylist, you will take a leadership role in delivering premium styling services whilst mentoring junior team members. Junior Hairstylists will develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role is perfect for passionate stylists looking to advance their career and build lasting client relationships in a supportive, creative environment.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality hairstyling services including cutting, colouring, perming, and styling for diverse clientele
Mentor and support junior hairstylists, providing guidance on techniques, client service, and professional development
Maintain client relationships and build a loyal client base through excellent customer service
Ensure all work meets the salon's high standards of quality and professionalism
Advise clients on hair care, styling options, and product recommendations
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised workstation at all times
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products
Assist with salon operations and contribute to a positive team culture




Assist senior stylists in delivering hairstyling services under supervision
Learn and develop hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, and styling
Support clients with shampooing, conditioning, and hair treatments
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and salon facilities
Develop knowledge of hair care products and client consultation skills
Gain practical experience in a professional salon environment
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a hairstylist with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry
Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members
Excellent client service and communication skills
Current or recent experience working in a busy salon environment
Knowledge of current hair trends and styling techniques
A professional approach with attention to detail and quality
Willingness to contribute to team success and salon culture
Completed hairdressing qualification or current studies in hairdressing
Enthusiasm to learn and develop hairstyling skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Physical stamina to work on your feet throughout the day
