Apex Engineering Corp is seeking a talented Civil/Stormwater Design Engineer (junior to senior level) to join our team in Burwood, NSW. This is a full-time position, commencing immediately, where you will play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge civil and stormwater engineering solutions for our diverse range of clients.
What you'll be doing
Designing, modelling and managing stormwater drainage systems to mitigate flood risks and ensure optimal flow
On site detention design and documentation in accordance with local government standards.
Water Sensitive Urban design and documentation, including MUSIC modelling.
Subterranean water collection, management and modelling.
Hydraulic catchment analysis and DRAINS modelling.
TUFLOW flood modelling including flood impact assessments and reports (desirable).
Road drainage design and aquaplaning assessment
Erosion & sediment control design and documentation.
Experience with residential stormwater design and interpretation of local and national legislations is ESSENTIAL.
Public Domain Civil design including sound knowledge of AS****
Civil earthworks design including road design and 3d modelling.
Experience in Subdivision works certificate.
Preparing detailed civil and stormwater engineering plans (Autocad), and specifications and reports.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions.
Ensuring all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety requirements
Providing expert technical advice and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle
The Successful Applicant




Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in civil and stormwater engineering
Current professional member of Engineers Australia, registered as NER or working towards.
Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrological modelling software, such as DRAINS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, CIVIL 3D
Strong working knowledge of Australian civil engineering design standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering projects on time and within budget
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.
