Bond Street Jewellers is a boutique, family-owned jewellery studio specialising in bespoke fine jewellery, exceptional natural diamonds, and handcrafted pieces. We pride ourselves on delivering extraordinary craftsmanship and a highly personalised experience for every client.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team one day per week in our Chatswood studio. This role would suit a freelancer or contractor looking for ongoing, consistent work while collaborating closely with our design and manufacturing team.
About the Role
You will work alongside our jewellers and Creative Director to transform client ideas into beautiful, manufacturable jewellery designs. We are looking for someone who is proactive, creative, highly organised and passionate about exceptional jewellery design.
Key Responsibilities
Design bespoke jewellery using CAD software.
Develop creative concepts from client briefs and consultations.
Refine and improve existing jewellery designs where appropriate.
Manage and operate our in-house 3D printing process (EnvisionTEC printer).
Liaise with our team throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Maintain organised file management and project documentation.
Ensure all designs are practical, manufacturable and finished to the highest standard.
About You
You will have:
Solid proficiency in:
Matrix 9 (or MatrixGold/Rhino)
Magics




A thorough understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
Exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to interpret client ideas and create elegant, commercially viable designs.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with both clients and team members.
A genuine passion for bespoke jewellery and craftsmanship.

As this is a design-focused role, applications must include a portfolio of recent jewellery CAD work. Please include examples of bespoke engagement rings, dress rings, earrings, pendants or other fine jewellery that demonstrate your creativity, technical ability and attention to detail.
