Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated and client‐focused Occupational Therapist Contractor to join their growing team in Tweed Heads. This role offers a diverse caseload across NDIS, paediatrics, and community‐based services, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the lifespan.
Part‐time hours available. Flexible contractor opportunity | Full‐time or part‐time. Competitive contractor rates / percentage split.
Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a adaptable contractor opportunity with a supportive multidisciplinary team and a varied caseload?
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive team environment.
As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:
Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports
Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations
Deliver ongoing therapy services focused on capacity building and goal attainment
Conduct cognitive assessments and provide appropriate recommendations
Provide paediatric occupational therapy services within a clinic environment
Deliver community and in‐home services, including home modifications and equipment prescription
Collaborate with clients, families, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals




Maintain accurate documentation and NDIS‐compliant reports

Essential Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA Registration
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
Experience working within the NDIS sector
Paediatric occupational therapy experience
Experience with assistive technology, home modifications, and functional assessments
Community‐based therapy experience
Highly Regarded
