Consolidated Insurance Brokers is a New Farm commercial brokerage that competes on advice, not price. When a client has a claim, that promise gets tested for real. We are looking for a Claims Consultant to carry their own caseload alongside our Claims Manager and make sure every insured is looked after properly, from the day they lodge to the day it settles.
You might come from another broking claims desk, or you might have spent years on the insurer side assessing and settling claims. Both work here. If you have handled real claim volume, you know how insurers think, and you want to spend your days on the client's side of the table for a change, we want to talk to you.
What you will do
Manage your own caseload of commercial claims end to end, from notification through to settlement.
Keep every client informed at each stage, so they never have to chase you for an update.
Record your files accurately and at the time it happens. Your notes are what we rely on when we dispute an insurer's position.
Deal directly with insurers, loss adjusters and assessors, and hold the line when a claim should be paid.




Step up in major events, storm, flood or cyclone, when claim volumes surge and clients need us most.
What you will bring
Hands-on claims experience, whether from a broking claims desk or an insurer's claims team.
A working understanding of how insurers assess and settle claims, and where they push back.
A track record of carrying high claim volumes without letting client communication slip.
Strong, disciplined file-noting habits.
The judgement to look past the obvious process step and work out the best outcome for the client.
The composure to help people through a stressful time while keeping the relationship professional.

$90,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation and bonus, based in Current Farm. The top of the range is for genuinely technical claims people who can handle complex commercial claims with little supervision.
