Senior Network Engineer (Level 3)
Open to Contract or Permanent arrangements. Onsite, Docklands VIC. For immediate start.
$120,000 plus Superannuation
Join a leading Australian Managed Services Provider as they deliver a large scale SD WAN rollout for a major client.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer with strong Cisco and Palo Alto skills to work alongside senior engineers on a fast paced, high volume migration project based onsite in Melbourne's Docklands.
Key Responsibilities:
Support site discovery and migration preparation activities across the SD WAN rollout
Work alongside senior engineers to help deliver site migrations at a pace of three to five sites per week
Carry out structured, repeatable configuration and migration tasks across Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently during site migrations, escalating complex issues where needed




Document site migration outcomes, configurations, and any issues encountered.
Key Requirements:
Self sufficient, hands on experience with Cisco networking infrastructure (essential)
Strong hands on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (essential)
Comfortable working through structured, repetitive migration tasks at pace, without close supervision
Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals including routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
Available for an immediate start, or with a very short notice period.
