About the Role
Based in
BondiJunction
you will support 2 women with daily living activities to live their best lives. To provide best support, the successful candidate will haveprevious experience working with people with psychosocial disability and mental health conditions.
Joining ourSupported Independent Living (SIL)team on a
permanent part time
basis, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
The successful candidates
must
be able to commit to the
set
roster line below:
38.5 hours per fortnight
Week 1: Tues 6:30pm - 10:30am (sleepover), Thurs 6pm - 10am (sleepover), Sun 8am - 4pm
Week 2: Tues 2:30 - 6:30pm, Thurs 2:30 - 6pm, Fri 10am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities
Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
Maintain thorough record keeping
Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
Advocate for client choice and control
Skills & Experience
Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns
Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
An unrestricted Australian driver's licence
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
