Trade Qualified:
A Mechanical Trade certificate, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
Welding Experience:
Proficiency in welding is highly preferred (formal welding qualifications are a major plus, but not essential).
Proven Experience:
At least 3 years in a workshop or engineering environment focusing on mechanical component repair, testing, and working & handling tools.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems; experience with air compressors or Rollingstock/Light Automotive is highly regarded.
Compliance Ready:
Must hold a valid OH&S; White Card and be able to pass a pre-employment medical (Drug & Alcohol) and Police Check.
High Standards:
A keen eye for detail when recording test outcomes and signing off on engineering documentation.
