About Us
Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Thomastown, specialising in high-quality switchboard production. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, we are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Assembly Worker to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual basis, with the potential for permanent employment after a trial period.
The Role
As part of our production team, you will play a key role in preparing and assembling switchboards for powder coating, as well as final assembly and packaging for shipping. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, following processes, and being part of a team that takes pride in its work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare metal products for powder coating and final assembly
Assemble components using hand and power tools
Follow technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate builds
Perform quality checks and functional tests on finished products
Maintain a clean, safe,



and organised workspace
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
Identify and troubleshoot minor assembly issues
Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines
About You
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly workplace
Skilled with tools such as drills, grinders, and screwdrivers
Great attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
Physically capable of lifting up to 15kg and standing for long periods
A positive attitude, team player, and quick learner
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
Open to Police, Drug and Alcohol Check
