Aurora Gold Coast Hospital Network – Robina Private Hospital & Currumbin Clinic
We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to support both Robina Private Hospital and Currumbin Clinic. This role is pivotal in strengthening Aurora's presence across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW healthcare community by building meaningful referral relationships, identifying new service opportunities and delivering high-impact engagement initiatives.
The successful candidate will bring value through the creation of new referral pathways, the development of trusted partnerships with GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, allied health professionals and community stakeholders, and the delivery of strategic marketing and educational initiatives that support shared patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage marketing and business development strategies across both hospital sites.
Build and maintain strong referral relationships with GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, allied health providers, PHNs, insurers, emergency services and community organisations.
Identify and develop new referral pathways and strategic partnership opportunities across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region aligned to strategic priorities for the hospital.
Conduct needs analyses with referrers to identify gaps in mental health and rehabilitation services and opportunities for service development.
Plan, coordinate and deliver CPD-accredited education events, specialist dinners, networking functions and community engagement activities.
Create and manage marketing collateral, presentations, digital campaigns and referral resources in collaboration with Aurora's central marketing team.
Manage communications across platforms including Mailchimp, hospital websites, social media and other digital channels.
Utilise Canva and other collaborative design platforms to develop professional marketing materials and event assets.




Contribute to podcast development, webinar content and other emerging digital engagement initiatives, with a willingness to upskill in audio/video production and content creation.
Monitor and report on referral activity, campaign performance, event metrics and business development outcomes.
Support the promotion of new clinical programs, specialist services and hospital initiatives across both sites.
Key Criteria
We are looking for a candidate with experience in healthcare business development, marketing, communications or stakeholder engagement, ideally within a hospital, mental health or rehabilitation setting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
A proven ability to build authentic, long-term professional relationships.
Experience organising and delivering CPD education events and healthcare networking activities.
Confidence working autonomously in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with clinical and executive teams.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across two hospital sites.
A proactive, self-starting approach with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Technical Skills
Intermediate to advanced capability in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
Canva and other collaborative design platforms
Mailchimp and email marketing systems
Social media management (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)
Website content management and digital communications
Experience with podcast production, webinar platforms or video editing tools would be highly regarded,



although candidates with a strong willingness to learn and upskill in these areas are encouraged to apply.
