Join the Catering Team at Hardi Aged Care – Blacktown

At Hardi Aged Care, mealtimes are an significant part of our residents’ day. We are looking for a reliable and caring Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand to join our friendly team at our Blacktown facility, working alongside an experienced chef in a supportive workplace.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist with:
Basic food preparation
Serving meals and snacks to residents
Assisting with kitchen stock and deliveries
Meal trolley service
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up duties

Available Shifts- Morning and afternoon shifts available with flexible rostering.

About You
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented




Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Friendly and respectful when interacting with older people
Able to maintain high hygiene and food safety standards
Adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude

Previous experience in hospitality, aged care catering, kitchen hand, or food service roles is desirable but not essential.

Requirements
Current COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
Willingness to obtain an NDIS Check
