Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park is looking for a skilled and passionate Commis Chef to join our friendly Kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and in a timely manner. The Commis Chef will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and in a timely manner
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines




Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Assist with menu planning and development
Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role
Knowledge of cooking techniques and methods
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred.
