Casual MR Truck Driver – Metro Deliveries

Oakgrove Furniture is seeking a reliable and experienced MR Truck Driver for a casual position completing deliveries throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
Based at our Bayswater factory, you will deliver Australian-made sofas and lounge furniture to retail stores and transport distribution centres. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, cares for the products they transport and provides professional service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
Complete metro deliveries to retail stores and transport depots
Load, secure and unload sofas and lounge furniture safely
Check products against delivery paperwork
Obtain proof of delivery and complete required documentation
Communicate professionally with customers and our warehouse team
Keep the truck clean,



tidy and well cared for
Follow all road safety and workplace safety requirements
What we're looking for
Current Victorian MR licence
A safe driving record
Previous truck delivery experience
Physically fit and comfortable handling bulky furniture
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Furniture delivery or multi-drop experience is an advantage
The position
Casual weekday work
Based in Bayswater
Metropolitan Melbourne deliveries
Up-to-date rigid truck
Hours may vary depending on the delivery schedule
Potential for regular ongoing work for the right person
