About the Role
We're seeking a confident, experienced Derma Clinician or Derma Therapist who is passionate about advanced skin health and delivering exceptional client results. At Beauty by Joulexa, we are committed to client transformation and results-driven care. You will receive full support to excel in your role.
In this role, you will perform advanced skin and laser treatments, support client consultations, maintain high clinical standards, and help clients stay consistent with their personalised treatment plans to achieve visible results. You'll contribute to clinic growth through excellent client care and rebooking.
This is a part-time role that can become full time if desired. You must be available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (fortnigthly basis). There is flexibility in choosing hours on other workdays.
Key Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive skin assessments and patch tests to determine the most suitable treatments for each client.
Operating and maintaining laser and dermal equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols.
Performing laser treatments like tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction,



and acne treatment.
Administering dermal treatments such as microneedling, chemical peels and other non-invasive skin procedures.
Provide pre- and post-treatment guidance and educate clients on ongoing skincare routines to support lasting results.
Maintain accurate client records, including consultation notes, treatment plans, and post-treatment recommendations.
Fostering strong client relationships and providing outstanding customer service.
Staying current with industry trends, new treatments, and technological advancements in skincare and laser therapy.
Who We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in a dermal, cosmetic, or aesthetic clinic environment in Australia.
Bachelor's or Diploma qualification in Dermal Therapy, Dermal Science, or Registered Nurse qualifications with relevant aesthetic laser experience.
Hands-on experience with laser and IPL, RF microneedling, chemical peels, and advanced skin treatments.
Extensive knowledge of pigmentation, acne, vascular issues, and advanced laser treatments across various energy-based platforms.
Confident in performing thorough skin consultations and creating personalised treatment plans.
A mature, polished, and professional clinician with outstanding communication skills and a client-centred approach.
Comfortable recommending the right products as part of a complete treatment plan.
