We are a well-established fire protection contractor delivering sprinkler, hydrant, and fire safety systems across a wide range of commercial and residential projects. With a robust current workload and forecast growth, we are looking to bring on a motivated Junior Draftsperson to join our team.
The Opportunity
This is an entry-level role suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is looking to develop practical skills in fire services design and drafting. You will receive structured on-the-job training and be supported by an experienced team in a fast-paced, high-performing drafting office.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting with the preparation of fire services drawings
Learning sprinkler and hydrant system design and drafting principles
Producing drawings using Revit (3D modelling) and AutoCAD (2D drafting)
Supporting the drafting and project teams with document control and coordination
Developing an understanding of Australian Standards and construction processes




Attending meetings with the Design Manager to build skills in services coordination and project delivery
About You
Strong computer literacy to support what you'll be learning
Eager to learn and committed to developing a long-term career in drafting and fire services
Positive attitude with a willingness to take direction and feedback
Able to work effectively in a busy office environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Advantageous (but not essential):
Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Revit
Any prior experience in drafting, construction, or engineering environments
