Job Description
Ballarat Performance Vehicles have been selling and servicing current and used vehicles in Ballarat and the surrounding region of Victoria for more than 25 years. The company is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join their team in Ballarat VIC, Mount Gambier SA and Corio VIC. The successful applicant will need to undertake:
Construct vehicle sections in several materials using shaping machines and cutting and welding equipment
Select, cut and sew pieces of fabric, vinyl and leather using heavy‐duty sewing machines
Modify assembly line vehicles to special requirements
Bolt, screw, rivet and weld vehicle sections together
Preparing new vehicle trim work




Instal internal trim in vehicles such as lining, floor coverings and armrests
Attach door trims, rubber seals, locks and handles
Skills & Attributes
Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations
Bus, Truck and Trailer or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Body Builder
Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard
Safety first attitude
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience Full-time Position available
