About the client
The business is a leader in its category and has grown at an exponential rate over recent years. As the Plant continue experienced volumes and the site starts to age a little the business needs a Reliability Manager to devise and implement its machinery reliability strategy.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Operations the Reliability Manager will be responsible for leading both maintenance and reliability across the business. Your directive is to maximise asset performance, minimise downtime and ensure adherence to safety and compliance whilst managing operational maintenance. The successful candidate will develop and implement the full end to end reliability strategy including preventative maintenance programs, whilst driving continuous improvement across the site. You will:
Control R&M; budgets and plans;




Manage the reliability and maintenance budgets with a focus on creating world class teams, production support and processes
Lead Maintenance & Reliability;
Champion reliability excellence, overseeing reactive and preventative maintenance and leading continuous improvement within maintenance
Optimise Asset Utilisation;
Manage equipment to maximise performance and output
Systems Management and Execution;
Ensure MEX is fully embedded with asset registers updated and the full end to end system implemented through the site
Focus on Performance;
Optimise asset utilization and efficiency utilising data to identify issues and solutions
Champion safety and improvement;
Ensure safety and continuous improvement are central to the businesses R&M; strategy
About you
You are a proven leader within reliability and maintenance engineering with a robust technical knowledge within aseptic production, sterilization and high speed lines. Your depth of experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing will ideally be complemented by a Degree in Mechatronics or a similar engineering field. You are able to evidence having created and implemented a master plan for capital efficiency whilst being hands on enough to inspire and coach your teams.
