We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Brisbane.
The position is responsible for handling shipments from conception to completion – from liaising with customers & suppliers in an effective and timely manner while directing, compiling, and processing the necessary documentation, to arranging transport and final invoicing.
Your typical day at DSV:
Carry out workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas.
Read, interpret, and carry out instructions recorded on documents or within DSV's systems.
Communicate (verbal and written) with customers, suppliers, and other team members to obtain information or communicate issues.
Support the Operations Manager with day‐to‐day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required.
Plan and prioritise shipments from the relevant CW1 workbenches to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
Problem‐solve operational issues with a range of stakeholders including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co‐loaders, and customers.
