We are working with a large and highly successful delivery business in the power generation and industrial infrastructure space to find a Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design delivery on major projects.
You will be delivering major projects to clients such as Amazon, Microsoft, BHP, Santos, Google, Open AI, Anthropic, NEXTDC, Defence Projects and many others.
You will coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Drafting teams, owning design integration from concept through commissioning, and acting as the key technical interface with clients and stakeholders.
Desired Skills
Professional Engineer with experience in design, project engineering or multidisciplinary engineering environments;




Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design delivery;
Robust hands‐on mechanical calculation and design verification capability;
Background in power generation, industrial equipment, manufacturing or critical infrastructure;
Experience with fuel, ventilation, exhaust or balance‐of‐plant systems highly regarded;
Confidence running HAZOPs, design reviews and client‐facing technical workshops;
CPEng (or working towards)
This is a genuine technical leadership role for someone who wants ongoing hands‐on engineering input as well as delivery ownership.
